Lorraine has been a complementary therapist for over fifteen years and now specialises in Clinical Hypnotherapy.

Drawing on the training and instruction of an approved and highly respected institution - The Essex Institute of Clinical Hypnosis (EICH), Lorraine trained with Terence Watts one of the most respected Hypnotherapists working in the UK today.

After years of intensive study, Lorraine has attained the following memberships and qualifications:

• The Association for Professional Hypnosis and Psychotherapy (APHP) - membership is by invitation only.
• Independent Professional Therapists International (IPTI).
• Diploma in Advanced Hypnoanalysis (DHP).
• Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy with Psychotherapy.
• Specialist Certificate in the Benefits and Uses of Hypnotherapy with Irritable Bowel Syndrome.

Many physical ailments can then arise from these problems or can be brought on by stress or trauma. It became a challenge to me to find the one therapy that could really help people deal with these problems. It was only after I went through my own Clinical Hypnotherapy I realised that Hypnotherapy can truly help people make huge changes to their lives".

Professional Membership

To become a member of The Association for Professional Hypnosis and Psychotherapy you must be personally interviewed and invited to join and all members are obliged to practice within a strict code of ethics. To remain a member your must commit to ongoing training to ensure that skills are constantly renewed and updated. Formal Supervision with a Senior Clinician, on a regular basis, is another stipulation of membership to ensure that the highest standards of practice are maintained.
